Dr Ammar Hussain is an experienced General Practitioner who has been working as a Family GP since 2010. He completed his General Practice training in the United Kingdom and holds Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP). He has also undertaken further study in dementia care, completing a Diploma in Dementia Care.
Dr Hussain enjoys providing comprehensive general practice care to patients across all stages of life, with particular interests in older persons’ health, chronic disease management and children’s health. His additional training in dementia care supports his interest in caring for older patients and families navigating changing health and care needs. He also values preventative health, regular health assessments and the ongoing management of long-term medical conditions.
Continuity of care is an important part of Dr Hussain’s approach as a Family GP. He aims to provide patient-centred, evidence-based care while developing an understanding of each patient’s individual circumstances and healthcare needs. Through ongoing care and clear communication, he supports individuals and families in making informed decisions about their health.
